3 days before the day on which the diagnosis is scheduled, the patient should completely refuse to use products that cause increased gas formation in the intestine (black bread, potatoes, legumes, milk, cabbages). When complaining about regular bowel bloating, it is further recommended that the patient take activated carbon (1 tablet per 10 kg of body) or "espumizan" according to the instructions during this period.

In the evening on the eve of the study, the patient needs to make a cleaning enema. He needs to repeat the same procedure in the morning, a few hours before diagnosis. Instead of enema it is possible to use laxative means according to instructions the day before.

Just before the X-ray examination, there is no eating. The last meal should be the night before not later than 19 o 'clock. On this day, if the study is carried out later than 12.00, from morning a light breakfast.
